The ideal candidate will have experience in auto body repair, vehicle restoration, and automotive painting, with a strong background in using various hand and power tools. This role involves repairing and restoring vehicles to their original condition, ensuring customer satisfaction through high-quality workmanship. Experience with dealership standards, auto estimating, and customer service is a plus. The position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where craftsmanship and attention to detail are highly valued. Duties Repair and restore damaged vehicle bodies using auto body repair techniques, including sheet metal work and auto painting Utilize MIG welding, soldering, welding, and airless paint spraying to perform repairs efficiently and accurately Operate various hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment to complete repairs Prepare vehicles for painting by sanding, masking, and surface preparation Ensure all repairs meet dealership or industry standards for quality and safety Maintain a clean and organized work environment to promote safety and efficiency Requirements Proven experience in auto body repair or related automotive fields; dealership experience is preferred Proficiency with MIG welding, welding, soldering, auto painting, airless paint spraying, and fabrication techniques Strong mechanical knowledge related to vehicle maintenance and automotive repair Ability to handle heavy lifting safely and work efficiently with hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment Knowledge of sheet metal work, and assembly procedures Excellent attention to detail with a focus on quality workmanship Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team Valid driver's license is preferred for certain duties involving vehicle movement or pickup/drop-off tasks This position provides an excellent opportunity for automotive professionals looking to advance their skills in a reputable environment dedicated to quality craftsmanship.
