Overview Join our dynamic team as an Auto Body Technician and become a vital part of restoring vehicles to their original condition with precision and expertise! In this role, you will perform comprehensive auto body repairs, including collision damage assessment, sheet metal work, auto painting, and finishing touches. Your skills will help bring vehicles back to life, ensuring safety, quality, and customer satisfaction. Responsibilities Repair and restore vehicle bodies by removing dents, replacing panels, and aligning frames using hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment such as MIG welding and soldering. Perform auto painting using airless paint spraying techniques to achieve smooth, flawless finishes that meet manufacturer standards. Conduct auto glass replacements and repairs while ensuring proper sealing and safety compliance. Utilize fabrication skills to modify sheet metal components for precise fitment and structural integrity. Assist with vehicle maintenance tasks including mechanical repairs, auto restoration projects, and assembly of parts. Use auto estimating software to assess damage extent and determine repair costs accurately. Maintain a clean and organized workspace while adhering to safety protocols during heavy lifting, welding, and use of power tools. Qualifications Proven dealership or automotive repair shop experience as an Auto Body Technician or similar role. Proficiency in MIG welding, soldering, fabrication, and the use of hand tools and power tools. Strong mechanical knowledge related to automotive repair, auto painting, auto glass installation, and vehicle maintenance. Experience with auto estimating software is a plus. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Knowledge of auto restoration techniques and familiarity with sheet metal work is highly desirable.
