Auto body Combination technician

Duties Perform comprehensive auto body repairs, including sheet metal work, dent removal, and collision damage restoration using both traditional and modern techniques. Utilize MIG welding, soldering, and other welding methods to join metal components securely. Fabricate custom parts and repair panels through precise fabrication techniques to match original specifications. Conduct auto painting using airless paint spraying equipment, ensuring smooth finishes and color accuracy. Replace and repair auto glass, including windshields and side windows, maintaining safety standards. Use hand tools and power tools efficiently for disassembly, assembly, sanding, grinding, and detailing tasks. Assist with auto estimating processes by assessing damage and providing accurate repair timelines; support vehicle maintenance as needed. Requirements Proven dealership or collision center experience with a strong background in auto body repair. Skilled in MIG welding, sheet metal fabrication, soldering, and the use of various welding techniques. Mechanical knowledge of automotive systems and vehicle maintenance procedures. Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, auto painting equipment—including airless paint sprayers—and auto glass installation tools. Experience in auto restoration projects and auto estimating processes is highly desirable. Ability to lift heavy parts safely and perform physically demanding tasks regularly.
