Job Description

Overview We are seeking a skilled Collision Technician to join our dynamic team in Fredericksburg Texas. This role is essential in restoring vehicles to their pre-accident condition, ensuring high-quality repairs and customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in auto body repair, mechanical knowledge, and a passion for automotive restoration. Duties Perform auto body repairs, including dent removal, panel replacement, and structural repairs. Utilize MIG welding techniques for metal fabrication and repair. Conduct vehicle maintenance tasks to ensure optimal performance post-repair. Execute detailing processes to enhance the appearance of vehicles after repairs. Use hand tools and power tools effectively for various repair tasks. Carry out auto glass replacement and repair as needed. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects. Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols. Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding repair processes and timelines. Assist in auto estimating to assess damage and determine necessary repairs. Skills Previous Bodyshop experience is required. Proficient in MIG welding, and sheet metal work. Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in automotive repair and maintenance. Experience in auto restoration projects is a plus. Ability to perform heavy lifting as required during repairs. Knowledge of assembly processes related to vehicle components. Excellent attention to detail in both repairs and customer interactions. Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot issues efficiently.
