Full Job Description Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Auto Body Technician to join our team. As an Auto Body Technician, you will be responsible for repairing and restoring damaged vehicles to their original condition. This is a hands-on role that requires strong mechanical skills and attention to detail.Duties:
- Perform body repairs, including sheet metal work, welding, and frame straightening
- Remove and install damaged parts, such as doors, fenders, and bumpers
- Repair or replace damaged glass
- Prepare surfaces for painting by sanding, masking, and priming
- Assemble and disassemble vehicle components as needed
- Conduct auto estimating to determine repair costs
- Ensure all repairs meet quality standards and customer satisfaction
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing customer concerns and answering questions
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Auto Body Technician or similar role
- Strong mechanical skills with knowledge of auto restoration techniques
- Proficient in sheet metal work, welding, and using power tools
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks as required
- Familiarity with auto estimating software is a plus
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Strong communication and customer service skills
