Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and motivated Auto Body Technician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for repairing and restoring vehicles to their original condition with precision and care. Your expertise will ensure that every vehicle leaving our shop meets the highest standards of quality, safety, and appearance. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on a variety of vehicles, utilizing your technical skills and passion for automotive repair to deliver exceptional results. Responsibilities Perform auto body repairs including dent removal, panel replacement, and collision damage restoration using advanced tools and techniques Conduct auto painting and finishing using airless paint spraying equipment to achieve a flawless surface Utilize MIG welding, soldering, and other welding techniques to repair sheet metal and structural components Use hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment to shape, cut, and assemble vehicle parts with precision Replace or repair auto glass and perform auto glass installation with attention to safety standards Assess vehicle damage accurately for auto estimating purposes and communicate repair plans effectively to customers Maintain detailed records of repairs performed, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and quality standards Requirements Proven experience as an Auto Body Technician or similar role within a dealership or automotive repair shop Strong knowledge of auto body repair techniques, including sheet metal work, auto painting, and auto restoration Proficiency in MIG welding, soldering, fabrication, and the use of various hand tools and power tools Mechanical knowledge related to vehicle maintenance and automotive repair processes Ability to lift heavy parts safely and perform physically demanding tasks regularly Familiarity with auto estimating software and customer service skills for effective communication with clients Valid experience in auto glass installation, auto painting (including airless paint spraying), and auto body assembly is preferred Join us in delivering top-tier automotive repair services by applying your expertise in a fast-paced environment that values quality craftsmanship.
