In this role, you will be responsible for preparing, painting, and finishing vehicle surfaces to restore their appearance and protect against corrosion. Your expertise will ensure vehicles leave our shop with a flawless finish, exceeding customer expectations. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with state-of-the-art equipment and contribute to vehicle restoration projects that showcase your craftsmanship and attention to detail. Duties Prepare vehicle surfaces by sanding, grinding, and masking to ensure optimal paint adhesion and finish quality Apply primer, base coats, clear coats, and specialty paints using airless paint spraying equipment and hand tools Perform buffing, polishing, and detailing to achieve a smooth, high-gloss finish on painted surfaces Conduct auto body repairs such as dent removal, panel replacement, and welding to restore vehicle integrity before painting Assist with auto glass replacement and repair as needed during the restoration process Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring all tools and equipment are properly stored and calibrated Collaborate with estimators and customer service teams to ensure accurate work scope understanding and customer satisfaction Requirements Proven dealership or auto body shop experience with a strong background in auto painting and body repair Hands-on experience with auto body repair techniques including welding, dent removal, and panel alignment Proficiency in using power tools, hand tools, airless paint sprayers, buffing machines, and other relevant equipment Mechanical knowledge of vehicle systems to assist with auto restoration and maintenance tasks Ability to lift heavy parts or equipment safely during repairs or preparation processes Knowledge of auto estimating software is a plus for understanding repair scopes and parts ordering Excellent customer service skills to communicate effectively with clients about repair progress and outcomes Join us if you're passionate about automotive craftsmanship!
