Responsibilities Must come prepared with your own tools Repair and restore vehicle bodies using auto body repair techniques, including dent removal, panel replacement, and alignment. Perform welding tasks such as MIG welding, soldering, and sheet metal fabrication to ensure structural integrity. Utilize hand tools, power tools, and airless paint spraying equipment for sanding, painting, and finishing surfaces. Conduct auto glass replacement and auto painting to achieve a flawless appearance. Assist with auto estimating and customer service by communicating repair progress and expectations clearly. Maintain detailed records of repairs performed, parts used, and work completed for quality assurance. Handle heavy lifting safely when moving or positioning vehicle parts or damaged components. Qualifications Licensed or certified preferred Proven dealership experience or extensive background in auto body repair is highly preferred. Proficiency in MIG welding, soldering, sheet metal work, and fabrication techniques. Strong mechanical knowledge of automotive systems and vehicle maintenance procedures. Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, auto glass installation tools, and auto painting equipment including airless paint sprayers. Knowledge of auto restoration projects and automotive repair processes is a plus. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and work efficiently in a physically demanding environment. Familiarity with auto estimating software and auto body repair standards is advantageous.
