At CARSTAR Prestige Collision, the Disassembly Technician is one of the most important roles in the shop. You set the standard for accuracy, efficiency, and quality. What Makes This Job Different 4-day work week (3 days off every week) 12-hour shifts = maximize your earnings Tool kit provided (you don't need to bring thousands in tools) Paid training (we invest in you, not just expect from you) What You'll Be Doing Tear down vehicles completely after estimate Find damage others miss (this is where you stand out) Build accurate supplement reports that drive the entire repair Work with estimators and techs to keep jobs moving Help reassemble vehicles and ensure everything fits right Handle light repair work when needed Who This Is For Someone with auto body, mechanical, or teardown experience Someone who takes pride in doing things right—not fast and sloppy Someone who doesn't need to be micromanaged Someone who wants to grow in the collision industry The Reality Check This is a real shop job.
