Responsibilities include:
- Assessing vehicle damage and determining necessary repairs
- Repairing and replacing damaged body panels, parts, and structural components
- Straightening bent frames or unibody structures using specialized equipment
- Sanding, prepping, and refinishing surfaces for painting
- Installing new parts and ensuring proper alignment and fit
- Collaborating with estimators and technicians to ensure quality work and timely completion
- Maintaining a clean and safe work environment
- Adhering to industry safety standards and company procedures
- Keeping accurate records of repairs and materials used Ideal candidates should have:
- 12 months previous experience in automotive body repair or a related field
- Familiarity with repair tools, equipment, and materials
- Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently within deadlines
- Good communication and teamwork skills
