Lead Technician

Rowlett Service Center is a shop that has been dedicated to quality and accurate repairs since it was opened in 1997. We have 12 lifts, employee lounge, computer stations and plenty of work to stay busy. We are open Monday through Friday from 8 to 6 and Saturday from 8 to 3. We alternate Saturdays in order to not have to work two back to back as well as alternate early days off during the week to help with work life balance. Employees get paid holidays and paid vacation. Actual compensation offer based on qualifications.

Lead Mechanic:

The lead mechanic should be able to successfully diagnose vehicle system malfunctions, carry out repair and repair validation after completion. Is self-motivated to get work done. Continuously involved in on going education. Strive for excellence in every repair and customer interaction. Takes ownership of the task at hand. Must have experience in a lead role. Must have a valid Texas drivers license. Must own tools. Be able to pass a background check in order to work on law enforcement vehicles and government owned assets. Be able to utilize the newest diagnostic equipment in the industry. Familiar with module programming on FORD, GM and Chrysler vehicles.

Experience:

module programming: 1 year (Preferred) Automotive diagnostics: 3 years (Required)

Automotive Air Conditioning:

3 years (Preferred) Automotive repair: 3 years (Required)

License/Certification:

Driver's License (Required) ASE Certification (Preferred)
