Overview Join our dynamic team as an Auto Body Technician, where your expertise will transform damaged vehicles into pristine, road-ready masterpieces! In this energetic role, you'll be at the forefront of vehicle repair and restoration, utilizing your skills to deliver exceptional results. Whether repairing collision damage, performing auto painting, or restoring classic cars, you'll play a vital part in helping customers get back on the road with confidence. Responsibilities Assess vehicle damage thoroughly to determine necessary repairs and estimate timeframes. Perform auto body repairs including dent removal, sheet metal work, and welding using MIG welding techniques. Use a variety of hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment to repair or replace damaged panels and components. Conduct auto painting using airless paint spraying techniques to ensure smooth, flawless finishes. Replace or repair auto glass and perform auto glass installation with precision. Fabricate custom parts or modify existing components through metal fabrication and soldering when needed. Maintain detailed documentation of repairs, including auto estimating and customer communication to ensure transparency and satisfaction. Experience Proven dealership experience or background in automotive repair is highly preferred. Hands-on experience with MIG welding, sheet metal work, and fabrication techniques. Strong mechanical knowledge of vehicle systems, maintenance procedures, and auto restoration processes. Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, and heavy lifting equipment for efficient repairs. Knowledge of auto body repair techniques such as auto painting, auto sanding, detailing, and auto assembly. Familiarity with auto estimating software and customer service practices to provide clear communication throughout the repair process.
