In this vital role, you will be responsible for applying high-quality paint finishes to repaired vehicles, ensuring they look flawless and meet manufacturer standards. This position offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your expertise in auto body painting, auto restoration, and detailing while working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Your attention to detail and commitment to excellence will help us deliver exceptional results that leave customers satisfied and vehicles looking brand new. Responsibilities Prepare vehicle surfaces by sanding, masking, and cleaning to ensure optimal paint adhesion. Apply primer, base coats, clear coats, and touch-up paint using airless paint spraying equipment and hand tools. Utilize power tools and buffing equipment to achieve smooth, flawless finishes on vehicle exteriors. Conduct auto body repairs such as filling dents, repairing scratches, and replacing damaged panels as needed. Perform auto glass replacement or repair when necessary to ensure safety and quality standards are met. Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols for handling hazardous materials like paints and solvents. Collaborate with technicians and estimators to ensure repairs meet quality standards and customer expectations. Qualifications Proven experience in auto body painting or collision repair. Strong knowledge of auto painting techniques. Mechanical knowledge of vehicle systems, auto restoration, and maintenance procedures. Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, sanders, grinders, and other relevant equipment. Knowledge of auto estimating processes is advantageous but not required.
