Hyman Brothers Collision Center Job Summary We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Body Shop Support Assistant to join our team. This role supports daily body shop operations by handling vehicle check-ins, scanning procedures, quality control inspections, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment. The ideal candidate is dependable, proactive, and willing to assist technicians as needed to ensure efficient shop flow. Responsibilities Check in incoming vehicles and complete initial documentation Perform pre-repair and post-repair vehicle scans Conduct quality control inspections on completed repairs to ensure work meets standards Maintain cleanliness and organization of the body shop and work areas Empty trash receptacles and dispose of shop waste appropriately Break down cardboard boxes and manage shop packaging materials Assist body technicians with general support tasks when time permits Follow all safety procedures and maintain a safe work environment Support overall shop efficiency and workflow Qualifications Strong attention to detail and accuracy Ability to follow directions and work independently or as part of a team Reliable attendance and strong work ethic Ability to perform physical tasks including standing, bending, and light lifting Basic understanding of automotive repair environment preferred, but not required Willingness to learn and take on additional responsibilities Benefits Health insurance Dental insurance 401(k) retirement plan Stable, full-time employment Training and development opportunities within the automotive industry Supportive team environment with growth potential Work Environment This position is based in a fast-paced automotive body shop.
