Overview We are seeking a motivated and skilled Auto Body Technician to join our Clients dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for repairing and restoring vehicles with precision and care, ensuring they meet safety standards and customer expectations. Your expertise will help bring vehicles back to their optimal condition, contributing to our reputation for excellence in automotive repair. We're looking for a top level auto body tech to join our body shop. Must have collision/restoration repair experience. Applicant must have all their own tools, reliable transportation, and the ability to turn 70+ hours of quality work. Duties Perform auto body repairs including dent removal, panel replacement, and collision damage restoration using hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment Conduct auto painting using paint spraying techniques to achieve a smooth, professional finish Use MIG welding, soldering, and sheet metal fabrication skills to repair or replace damaged parts Assist with vehicle maintenance tasks such as mechanical repairs, auto restoration projects, and assembly work when needed.

Assess vehicle damage accurately for auto estimating purposes and communicate findings effectively to customers Perform vehicle maintenance tasks such as alignment, assembly, detailing, and light mechanical repairs as needed Lift heavy vehicle parts safely during repairs and handle heavy lifting tasks efficiently Experience Proven dealership experience or extensive background in auto body repair is highly preferred Hands-on experience with MIG welding, sheet metal work, and fabrication techniques Mechanical knowledge of automotive systems including auto painting, auto restoration, and auto glass installation Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment for vehicle repair Familiarity with auto estimating software and customer service practices in an automotive setting Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining high-quality workmanship Prior experience working with auto body repair standards and safety protocols is a plus
Pay:
$24.87 - $29.95 per hour
