At Priority Ford's Body Shop, we are looking for a technician who can go beyond basic collision repair—someone with strong mechanical ability and suspension experience who takes pride in delivering high-quality, safe, and precise repairs. Position Overview The Body Shop Technician will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing collision-damaged vehicles, including structural, mechanical, and suspension systems. This role requires a well-rounded technician who can handle both body and mechanical repair work efficiently and accurately. Key Responsibilities Perform collision repairs on Ford and all makes/models Diagnose and repair mechanical and suspension damage related to collisions Remove, repair, and replace damaged body panels and structural components Perform quality checks to ensure vehicle safety and proper alignment Work closely with estimators and other technicians to ensure efficient workflow Maintain a clean and safe work environment following OSHA and shop standards Required Qualifications I-CAR certification (current or in progress preferred) ASE certifications required or strong ASE-based experience in mechanical systems Strong background in mechanical and suspension repair Experience in collision/body shop repair environment Ability to work on a variety of makes and models Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety and quality What We Offer We offer best in class industry benefits: Competitive pay Medical, Dental and Vision Plans Paid Holidays & PTO Short and Long-Term Disability Paid Life Insurance 401(k) Retirement Plan Employee Stock Purchase Plan Lithia Learning Center Vehicle Purchase Discounts Wellness Programs About Us Priority Ford Body Shop in Norfolk, VA is part of a high-performing dealership group committed to excellence in customer service and vehicle repair.
