Job Description

Job Summary We are hiring an experienced restoration body technician / metal fabricator who can come in, get to work, and help move serious projects through the shop. This position is for someone who knows how to make money in a restoration shop by producing quality work, staying organized, solving problems, and keeping jobs moving. We are not looking for someone who needs to be babysat. We are looking for a reliable, skilled, motivated technician who takes pride in their work, shows up ready, and understands that quality craftsmanship and production both matter. The Right Person The right candidate is: Reliable — shows up on time and ready to work. Experienced — knows restoration/body work and can produce. Self-motivated — does not need constant supervision. Quality-minded — cares about fit, finish, welds, gaps, and details. Production-focused — understands that work has to move and the shop has to make money. Organized — keeps parts, tools, hardware, and work areas under control. Honest — communicates issues, mistakes, and concerns right away. Professional — respects customer vehicles, coworkers, vendors, and the shop. Required Experience Applicants should have real hands-on experience in at least several of these areas: Auto body repair Classic car restoration Sheet metal replacement Welding and fabrication Panel alignment Rust repair Body filler and block sanding Paint prep Structural repair Custom body work This is not an entry-level position. We are looking for someone who can bring value to the shop right away. Big Plus If You Can Lead a project from teardown through metal work and body prep. Accurately identify what needs repaired, replaced, or fabricated. Work from start to finish with minimal supervision. Help train or guide less-experienced help when needed. Estimate labor needs and communicate project progress. Produce clean, profitable work that keeps customers happy. What We Offer Top pay for the right person. Steady restoration work. Pay:
$25.70 - $32.00 per hour
