Overview Join our dynamic team as an Auto Body Technician and become a vital part of restoring vehicles to their original condition with precision and care! In this role, you will utilize your expertise in auto body repair, welding, fabrication, and vehicle maintenance to deliver outstanding results. Your hands-on skills will help clients regain confidence in their vehicles while ensuring safety and quality standards are met. Responsibilities Perform comprehensive auto body repairs including dent removal, panel replacement, and collision damage restoration using hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment. Conduct auto painting using airless paint spraying techniques to achieve smooth, professional finishes. Utilize MIG welding, soldering, and sheet metal fabrication skills to repair or replace damaged parts accurately. Replace and install auto glass with precision, ensuring proper sealing and alignment for safety and aesthetics. Apply auto estimating techniques to assess damage, prepare repair plans, and communicate timelines effectively with customers. Maintain a thorough understanding of vehicle mechanics to assist with mechanical repairs and overall vehicle maintenance. Handle heavy lifting safely during parts replacement or assembly tasks while adhering to safety protocols. Provide excellent customer service by explaining repair processes clearly and ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the repair journey. Experience Proven dealership experience or background in automotive repair shops demonstrating expertise in auto body work. Hands-on experience with MIG welding, soldering, sheet metal work, and fabrication techniques. Strong mechanical knowledge combined with familiarity in auto painting, auto restoration, and vehicle assembly. Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, auto estimating software, and auto glass installation equipment. Knowledge of automotive repair processes including auto painting (airless paint spraying), auto body repair, detailing, and auto glass replacement. Experience working with auto insurance claims or auto estimating is a plus but not required. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining attention to detail during repairs and restorations. $25.82 - $31.09 per hour
