Job Description

We are a busy, growing collision repair / auto body shop seeking skilled Auto Body Technicians to join our team. If you take pride in high-quality repairs, work efficiently, and want year-round work with great earning potential, we want to hear from you! As an Auto Body Technician, you will handle all aspects of vehicle collision repair, from minor dent removal to major structural reconstruction, panel replacement, and prep for painting. You'll work on a variety of makes and models in a modern, well-equipped facility.
Key Responsibilities:
Inspect vehicles to assess damage and determine repair methods Remove, repair, replace, and align damaged body panels, frames, bumpers, fenders, doors, hoods, etc. Perform frame straightening and structural repairs using frame machines and measuring systems Hammer out dents, apply body filler, sand, mask, and prep surfaces for painting Weld, cut, and fabricate as needed (MIG welding experience a plus) Restore vehicles to pre-accident condition while meeting manufacturer specifications and I-CAR standards Use diagnostic tools, hand tools, power tools, and shop equipment safely and efficiently Communicate repair progress with estimators, painters, and service advisors Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
Requirements:
2+ years of proven experience in auto body / collision repair (shop experience preferred) Strong skills in metal work, dent removal, panel replacement, and frame alignment Experience with modern vehicle construction (aluminum, high-strength steel, etc.) is a plus Valid driver's license and good driving record Own basic set of hand tools (shop provides specialty tools and equipment) Ability to work quickly while maintaining high quality Reliable, detail-oriented, and team player I-CAR certification, ASE Collision Repair certifications, or manufacturer training preferred (but not always required)
