Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and skilled Auto Body Shop Technician to join our energetic team! In this role, you will be at the forefront of vehicle repair and restoration, transforming damaged vehicles into like-new condition with precision and care. Your expertise will help ensure customer satisfaction through high-quality craftsmanship, efficient service, and attention to detail. Duties Perform auto body repairs including dent removal, panel replacement, and collision damage restoration using a variety of tools and techniques. Utilize MIG welding, soldering, and other welding methods to repair or fabricate sheet metal components. Conduct auto painting using airless paint spraying equipment to achieve flawless finishes that meet industry standards. Repair or replace auto glass and perform auto glass installation with precision. Use hand tools and power tools effectively for tasks such as sanding, grinding, assembly, and detailing to ensure high-quality results. Assist with vehicle maintenance tasks including mechanical repairs, auto restoration projects, and general automotive repair work. Collaborate with team members on auto estimating, vehicle assessment, and customer service to deliver exceptional results. Requirements Proven dealership experience or background in auto body repair is highly preferred. Strong knowledge of auto body techniques including sheet metal work, auto painting, auto glass installation, and auto restoration. Proficiency with MIG welding, soldering, fabrication, and the use of various hand tools and power tools. Mechanical knowledge related to automotive repair and vehicle maintenance. Ability to lift heavy objects safely and perform physically demanding tasks regularly. Familiarity with auto estimating processes and customer service standards is a plus. Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to quality workmanship.
