Soldering Technician ECU Maverick Estero, FL Job Details Temporary | Part-time | Temp-to-hire | Contract $18 - $25 an hour 9 hours ago Benefits Paid training Qualifications Replacing parts Electronics component replacement Soldering tools No experience needed Printed circuit board (PCB) repair Electronic parts Driver's License Electrical soldering Circuit boards Full Job Description We are a busy automotive ECU repair shop looking for someone who can confidently pick up a soldering iron and hot air gun, remove/replace ICs and other components on circuit boards. Perfect side gig that can turn into full-time for the right person. Training and teaching are not the same. We can train you but not teach you.
The job:
M-F 9AM-5PM or Saturdays & Sundays only: 9AM - 5PM (16 hours/week to start) Paid training on our exact processes and equipment If you prove fast, reliable, and produce clean work → we will move you to full-time (Mon-Fri) What we NEED from you: You can already hold a soldering iron and hot-air gun in your hand without shaking or burning yourself (hobby soldering, fixed a phone, built Arduino projects, repaired game consoles… anything counts) You have your own reliable car and a valid driver's license. You show up on time, every time, reliability is everything What we DO NOT need: No prior professional experience required No certifications required (IPC, etc.) We will teach you everything about soldering but we cannot teach basic tool control or steady hands. If you've ever thought "I love soldering, I'm pretty good at it, and I wish I could get paid for it" then this is your shot.
