Responsibilities Deliver furniture and appliances to customer locations using a box truck or similar vehicle, ensuring timely and safe transportation. Assemble furniture pieces and appliances according to schematics, diagrams, and manufacturer instructions with precision. Install appliances such as refrigerators, washers, dryers, HVAC units, and other mechanical equipment, ensuring proper electrical connections and functionality. Conduct appliance repair or troubleshooting when necessary, utilizing your mechanical knowledge and electrical experience to resolve issues efficiently. Read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and wiring diagrams to facilitate accurate installation and repair tasks. Provide exceptional customer service by explaining product features, answering questions, and ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the installation process. Maintain all equipment, tools, and vehicle safety standards while adhering to company policies for field service operations. Requirements Proven experience in appliance repair, service technician roles, or field service work involving mechanical systems. Familiarity with refrigeration systems. Prior delivery driver experience using box trucks or similar vehicles is preferred. Mechanical aptitude with hands-on assembly skills for furniture and appliances. Excellent customer service skills with clear communication abilities. Ability to work independently in various environments while managing multiple installations daily. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; experience operating large vehicles such as box trucks is advantageous.
