Competitive hourly pay + training + advancement opportunities Job Overview We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented 12-Volt Automotive Installer who is comfortable working hands-on with vehicle electrical systems and interacting professionally with customers. This role combines technical installation work with customer service responsibilities, including basic payment processing and support. The ideal candidate has experience with vehicle wiring, diagnostics, and electrical troubleshooting, and is comfortable explaining services to customers in a calm, professional manner. Primary Responsibilities Technical / Installation Duties Install and service 12-volt automotive electronic equipment Safely locate and identify vehicle wiring using wiring diagrams and testing tools Use digital multimeters to test voltage, continuity, resistance, and ground Make secure, clean electrical connections following best practices Route, loom, and secure wiring to OEM-quality standards Troubleshoot electrical issues and perform basic diagnostics Work on a wide range of vehicles including domestic, foreign, and late-model cars Customer Service & Front-End Support Greet customers and explain installation or service procedures clearly Answer basic questions regarding service, scheduling, and usage Process payments (cash, card, or electronic systems) Accurately document work performed and customer interactions Maintain a professional, respectful demeanor in all customer situations Required Qualifications Professional Experience with 12-volt automotive electrical systems Ability to read and understand automotive wiring diagrams Proficiency with digital multimeters Familiarity with locating ignition, accessory, power, and ground circuits Strong attention to detail and safety Basic computer skills (POS systems, data entry, scheduling software) Valid driver's license and clean driving record and clean criminal history including no DWI's in the past 3 years to be insurable on company vehicles.
