In this role, you will be responsible for delivering, installing, assembling, and repairing a wide range of furniture and household appliances at customer locations. Your expertise will ensure that each installation is completed efficiently, safely, and to the highest standards of quality. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work hands-on with diverse products, troubleshoot technical issues, and provide exceptional customer service that leaves a lasting positive impression. Duties Safely operate delivery trucks, including box trucks, to transport furniture and appliances to customer sites. Unload and deliver products with care, ensuring items are handled securely to prevent damage. Assemble furniture pieces and install appliances such as refrigerators, washers, dryers, HVAC units, and other household equipment according to manufacturer specifications. Interpret schematics, electrical diagrams, and mechanical instructions to facilitate proper installation and troubleshooting. Conduct appliance repairs, including refrigeration systems and HVAC units, utilizing mechanical knowledge and electrical experience. Diagnose issues using technical manuals or schematics; perform equipment repairs or escalate complex problems to specialized technicians. Provide excellent customer service by explaining product features, answering questions, and ensuring customer satisfaction during the installation process. Qualifications Proven experience in appliance repair, service technician roles, or field service positions involving mechanical or electrical systems. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to read schematics and technical diagrams accurately. Experience with refrigeration systems, HVAC units, or electrical troubleshooting is highly desirable. Prior delivery driver experience with a valid driver's license and familiarity operating box trucks or similar vehicles. Skilled in assembly work for furniture or appliances with attention to detail and safety protocols. Excellent customer service skills with a professional attitude and clear communication abilities. Ability to work independently in various environments while maintaining safety standards.
