Job Description

Marine systems installer
Job Description:
Looking for motivated individuals wanting to excel in the marine industry. Responsibilities include installation of electrical and mechanical components with minimal supervision. Fabricates and installs main and auxiliary wiring harnesses. Installs, interfaces and connects a variety of components such as lights, radios, radar, sonar, , auxiliary generators, GPS, chart plotters, etc. Install of various outboard engines, along with associated cables and wiring.

Full Time 5:00 am to 3:30pm Tue-Fri. 4-10's

level: Intermediate to Advanced compensation: 30.00 - 36.00 D.O.E.

Skills, and Experience:
Install electrical and mechanical equipment in accordance with ABYC Interpret blueprints, schematics, drawings, and layouts to complete installations Assist with bill of materials and parts requisitions Maintain direct communication with rigging manager Must provide own tools within reason.( Shop will provide larger more expensive power tools.) Ability to troubleshoot electrical equipment with a multi meter Familiar with general shop procedures and tools. Cutting and light machining of aluminum parts.
Education:
Minimum High school Diploma or Equivalent. One year college level training in electronics, automotive or marine mechanics, and or 3 years on the job experience. ABYC Certification a plus.
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to lift up to 60 lbs. Position requires grasping, writing, standing, sitting, walking, kneeling, crawling, repetitive motions, bending, climbing, listening and hearing ability and visual acuity. Must be able to bend, stoop, squat and stretch to complete tasks.' '
