This energetic position involves installing, repairing, and replacing auto glass with precision and care. Responsibilities Remove and replace auto glass using specialized tools, ensuring proper fit and seal integrity. Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles to identify additional repair needs such as ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) calibration or minor body repairs. Use hand tools and power tools effectively for glass installation, assembly, and detailing tasks. Apply window tinting techniques when required, enhancing vehicle aesthetics and UV protection. Assist with vehicle maintenance tasks, including minor auto body repairs and mechanical adjustments as needed. Ensure all installations meet safety standards and manufacturer specifications. Maintain detailed records of services performed, including auto estimating documentation for parts and labor. Requirements Proven experience working with auto glass installation or repair, preferably within a dealership environment. Knowledge of ADAS systems calibration and integration is highly desirable. Familiarity with window tinting, auto body repair, and vehicle detailing processes. Mechanical aptitude with hands-on experience using hand tools, power tools, and assembly equipment. Strong understanding of automotive repair procedures and vehicle maintenance practices. Ability to lift heavy glass panels safely and perform physically demanding tasks consistently. Previous experience with auto estimating software or automotive repair systems is a plus. Excellent attention to detail, safety consciousness, and commitment to quality workmanship.
