This energetic position offers the opportunity to work with a variety of vehicles, utilizing your mechanical skills and attention to detail to ensure top-quality results. As an Auto Glass Technician, you will be responsible for installing, replacing, and repairing auto glass with precision and care, contributing to our commitment to customer satisfaction and vehicle safety. Responsibilities Remove damaged or broken auto glass safely using hand tools and power tools, ensuring no further damage to the vehicle. Install new auto glass accurately, aligning and sealing windows to factory specifications for optimal fit and durability. Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles before and after repairs to identify additional issues such as ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) calibration needs or auto body damage. Utilize mechanical knowledge and auto estimating skills to assess repair needs and communicate effectively with customers about services performed. Handle heavy lifting safely when removing or installing large glass panels, adhering to safety protocols at all times. Maintain a clean, organized workspace, ensuring all tools and equipment are properly stored and maintained for efficiency. Skills Experience repair background with a focus on auto glass installation. Knowledge of ADAS systems calibration and integration during windshield replacements. Strong mechanical aptitude combined with familiarity using hand tools, power tools, and assembly equipment. Understanding of vehicle maintenance procedures and auto body repair fundamentals. Ability to lift heavy objects safely while maintaining proper posture and safety standards. Excellent attention to detail with a focus on quality workmanship in glass installation, detailing, and finishing touches.
