Responsibilities Remove damaged or broken auto glass safely using hand tools and power tools, ensuring no further damage occurs. Install new auto glass with precision, aligning components correctly for optimal fit and function. Perform vehicle inspections to identify additional repair needs such as auto body damage or mechanical issues. Apply window tinting film professionally to enhance vehicle aesthetics and UV protection. Conduct ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) calibration after windshield replacement to ensure safety features operate correctly. Assist with vehicle maintenance tasks such as fluid checks, light repairs, and minor mechanical adjustments when required. Qualifications Prior dealership experience or hands-on auto glass installation background highly preferred. Strong mechanical knowledge with experience using hand tools, power tools, and assembly techniques. Familiarity with auto body repair, vehicle maintenance, and general automotive repair processes. Knowledge of ADAS systems calibration procedures is a plus. Ability to lift heavy glass panels safely and perform physically demanding tasks regularly. Experience with auto estimating software or auto estimating procedures is advantageous. Excellent attention to detail with a focus on safety standards and quality workmanship.
