In this role, you will specialize in installing, repairing, and replacing automotive glass with precision and care. Your expertise will ensure drivers feel confident and safe on the road, while you enjoy a fast-paced, rewarding environment that values your mechanical skills and attention to detail. Whether working on luxury vehicles or everyday cars, you'll have the opportunity to develop your craft and grow your automotive career. Duties Remove damaged or broken auto glass safely using hand tools and power tools, ensuring no further damage to the vehicle. Install new auto glass with precision, aligning windows and windshields to manufacturer specifications for a perfect fit. Conduct vehicle inspections to identify additional repairs needed, including auto body repair or mechanical issues. Apply window tinting film to enhance vehicle aesthetics and driver privacy, following safety standards. Use ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) calibration equipment to ensure sensors are properly aligned after glass replacement. Assist with vehicle maintenance tasks such as minor mechanical repairs or assembly work related to glass installation. Maintain detailed records of services performed using auto estimating software and ensure all work meets quality standards. Requirements Previous dealership experience or automotive service background preferred, with knowledge of auto glass installation and repair processes. Mechanical knowledge combined with experience using hand tools, power tools, and auto body repair techniques. Familiarity with ADAS calibration procedures and window tinting is highly desirable. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely when handling large or heavy glass components. Strong attention to detail with excellent problem-solving skills to ensure precise installations. Knowledge of vehicle maintenance procedures and basic automotive repair skills is a plus. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high safety standards.
