In this role, you will specialize in installing, replacing, and repairing auto glass with precision and care, ensuring safety and quality for every customer. Your expertise will help restore vehicles to their optimal condition while providing outstanding service in a fast-paced environment. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in automotive glass installation, vehicle maintenance, and auto body repair, all while working with a dedicated team committed to excellence. Duties Remove damaged or broken auto glass safely using hand tools and power tools, ensuring no further damage to the vehicle. Install new auto glass with precision, utilizing specialized techniques for proper fitment and sealing to prevent leaks and wind noise. Conduct vehicle inspections to assess damage and determine the appropriate repair or replacement procedures. Apply window tinting film as needed, enhancing vehicle aesthetics and privacy for customers. Use automotive estimating software to document repairs accurately and communicate scope of work clearly. Assist with ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) calibration after windshield replacement to ensure safety features function correctly. Perform light mechanical tasks related to vehicle maintenance or auto body repair as required, including assembly and detailing work. Qualifications Prior dealership experience or automotive service background preferred, with a strong understanding of auto glass installation and vehicle repair processes. Knowledge of ADAS systems, auto estimating tools, and heavy lifting techniques necessary for handling large or heavy glass components. Hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools, and auto body repair equipment is essential for precise work. Mechanical knowledge combined with familiarity in vehicle maintenance enhances your ability to troubleshoot issues effectively. Experience with window tinting, auto glass replacement, and assembly processes is highly desirable. Ability to perform detailed detailing work and operate various power tools safely is required. Strong communication skills for collaborating with team members and explaining procedures to customers are important for success in this role.
