Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Automotive Glass Technician to join our team. This role involves installing, repairing, and replacing automotive glass with precision and attention to detail. The ideal candidate will have experience working with various vehicle types, possess mechanical knowledge, and be comfortable using hand tools and power tools. A background in dealership service, auto body repair, or automotive maintenance is highly desirable. Duties Remove and replace automotive glass including windshields, side windows, and rear windows with accuracy and safety standards. Perform glass installation using appropriate tools, adhesives, and techniques to ensure secure fitment. Conduct vehicle inspections to identify additional repair needs such as ADAS calibration or minor body repairs. Assist with vehicle maintenance tasks such as mechanical repairs, auto body work, or detailing as needed. Utilize hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment for glass installation and vehicle repairs. Apply auto estimating skills for parts ordering and job documentation. Lift heavy glass panels safely and efficiently while adhering to safety protocols. Maintain a clean and organized workspace to promote safety and efficiency during operations. Qualifications Proven experience in auto glass installation or repair; dealership experience is a plus. Knowledge of ADAS systems calibration and auto body repair is preferred. Familiarity with vehicle maintenance, mechanical systems, and auto estimating software. Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment effectively. Mechanical knowledge related to automotive repair processes including assembly and detailing. Experience with window tinting, auto glass replacement, and vehicle assembly is advantageous. Strong attention to detail with excellent problem-solving skills. Ability to lift heavy objects safely and work in physically demanding environments. Prior experience working with dealership or automotive repair shops is beneficial but not required. This position requires a dedicated professional committed to delivering high-quality service in a fast-paced automotive environment.
Pay:
$50,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
