Experience:

Minimum of 2-3 years of professional automotive window tinting and/or PPF installation experience (Required). Dual proficiency in both Tint and PPF is highly preferred, but we are willing to cross-train the right expert in one of the fields.

Driver's License:

Valid driver's license with a clean driving record (you will need to move customer vehicles).

Skills & Technical Proficiencies:

We are looking for a well-rounded technician who possesses the following skills:

Film Handling & Application:

Expert proficiency in handling, shrinking, and squeegeeing automotive window films (carbon and ceramic) and PPF (urethane films).

Advanced Tinting Techniques:

Mastery of heat shrinking (wet and dry methods), micro-edging/shaving door windows, and seamless rear-window installations.

PPF Installation Methods:

Proficient in both pre-cut kit installation and bulk/custom installation (stretching, tacking, trimming on the vehicle without cutting paint, and wrapping edges).

Plotter & Software Literacy:

Experience using cutting software (e.g., Core, DAP, Tint Tek, SunTek/Eastman software) and operating large-format film plotters.

Vehicle Preparation:

Deep understanding of paint correction, clay bar treatment, and chemical decontamination required for flawless PPF adhesion, as well as glass scraping/cleaning for tint.

Tool Proficiency:

Safe and expert use of heat guns, torches, Olfa knives, slip solutions, and various specialized squeegees. Disassembly (Bonus): Ability to safely remove door panels, trim, badges, and light assemblies for seamless tucks is a major plus. What You'll Do (Responsibilities): Prep, cut, and install high-quality window film and Paint Protection Film on a wide variety of vehicles. Inspect your own work to ensure zero bubbles, dust, contamination, or fingers before delivering the vehicle to the customer. Maintain a clean, dust-free workstation and properly maintain plotters and installation tools. Work efficiently alongside other installers to meet daily shop deadlines.

$24.36 - $45.00 per hour
