Job Overview We are seeking a skilled Automotive Glass Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail and experience in glass installation, ensuring high-quality service for our customers. This role involves working with various types of auto glass and requires proficiency in using power tools and handling heavy lifting tasks. Responsibilities Perform installation, repair, and replacement of automotive glass, including windshields, side windows, and rear windows. Utilize auto estimating techniques to assess damage and determine the necessary repairs or replacements. Assemble components and ensure proper sealing of glass to maintain vehicle integrity. Operate power tools safely and effectively during installation processes. Collaborate with team members to maintain a clean and organized work environment. Provide excellent customer service by addressing client questions and concerns regarding services performed. Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used. Requirements Proven experience in automotive glass installation or related fields such as auto body repair or mechanics is preferred. Strong attention to detail with the ability to perform precise measurements and adjustments. Ability to lift heavy materials (up to 50 pounds) safely and efficiently. Proficient in using power tools and other equipment necessary for glass installation tasks. Excellent communication skills and a customer-oriented mindset. Valid driver's license may be required for travel between job sites.
