Job Summary 5 Years Experience Required Join our dynamic team as an Auto Glass Technician, where you will play a vital role in restoring vehicle safety and aesthetics through expert glass installation and repair. This energetic position offers the opportunity to work with a variety of vehicles, utilizing your mechanical skills and automotive knowledge to deliver top-quality service. As an Auto Glass Technician, you will be responsible for installing, replacing, and repairing auto glass with precision and care, ensuring customer satisfaction and vehicle safety are always prioritized. Duties Remove damaged or broken auto glass using hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently. Install new auto glass, including windshields, side windows, and rear windows, adhering to manufacturer specifications. Conduct vehicle inspections to assess damage and determine the best repair or replacement approach. Use automotive estimating software to document repairs and communicate with insurance companies if necessary. Perform ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) calibrations after windshield replacement to ensure vehicle safety features function correctly. Qualifications Prior dealership experience or automotive repair background is highly preferred. Strong mechanical knowledge combined with experience in auto glass installation or repair. Familiarity with ADAS calibration procedures and auto estimating software is a plus. Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and assembly techniques for glass installation. Ability to lift heavy glass panels safely and perform physical tasks involved in heavy lifting. Excellent attention to detail with a focus on quality workmanship and customer satisfaction.
