Experienced Auto Glass Installer

Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and motivated Experienced Auto Glass Installer to join our dynamic automotive service team. In this role, you will be responsible for expertly installing, repairing, and replacing auto glass on a variety of vehicles, ensuring safety, quality, and customer satisfaction. Duties Remove damaged or broken auto glass using hand tools and power tools with precision and care. Install new auto glass, including windshields, side windows, and rear glass, ensuring proper fitment and sealing. Conduct vehicle inspections to identify additional repair needs such as ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) calibration or minor auto body repairs. Perform vehicle maintenance tasks such as mechanical adjustments or minor repairs to ensure optimal vehicle operation post-installation. Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols while handling heavy glass panels and power tools. Assist with detailing work or assembly tasks related to auto glass components when necessary. Requirements Proven experience in auto glass installation, preferably within a dealership or specialized auto shop environment. Strong mechanical knowledge of vehicle systems and auto body repair processes. Familiarity with ADAS calibration procedures following windshield replacement for safety compliance. Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, and automotive assembly equipment safely and efficiently. Physical strength and stamina for heavy lifting and prolonged standing during installations. Basic understanding of auto estimating software and vehicle maintenance procedures. Knowledge of automotive repair standards, including auto body repair practices, is a plus. Excellent attention to detail, customer service skills, and a proactive attitude toward quality workmanship.
