Position Overview The Auto Glass Technician is responsible for performing high-quality auto glass repairs and replacements, recalibrations, diagnostic evaluations, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring every customer receives a safe, accurate, and professional installation. This role requires strong technical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Key Responsibilities Perform auto glass replacements and repairs (windshields, back glass, door glass, quarter glass, vent glass, etc.). Conduct ADAS recalibrations using proper equipment and manufacturer specifications. Diagnose and troubleshoot installation issues, and leaks. Safely operate tools, equipment, and recalibration systems. Maintain accurate work orders, documentation, and customer communication. Ensure work meets industry standards and company quality expectations. Collaborate with team members to maintain an efficient workflow. Keep work areas clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards. Provide excellent customer service and represent Dixie Glass with professionalism. Qualifications 1-5 years of proven auto glass installation experience required. Strong knowledge of recalibrations, diagnostics, troubleshooting, and modern auto systems. Experience with ADAS recalibration systems preferred. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in a physically active role. Strong communication skills and a commitment to top-tier customer service. Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work independently. Must be able to uphold Dixie Glass's standards of quality, integrity, and professionalism.
