Overview We are seeking a motivated Windshield Technician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for expertly installing, repairing, and maintaining windshields and auto glass components across a variety of vehicles. Your skills will ensure our customers' vehicles are safe, visually appealing, and restored to optimal condition. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with advanced automotive glass technologies and contribute to the safety and satisfaction of our clients. Responsibilities Remove and replace windshields, side windows, rear glass, and other auto glass components using specialized tools and techniques Perform auto glass repairs on chips, cracks, and other damages to restore vehicle integrity Conduct vehicle inspections to identify additional repair or maintenance needs related to glass or bodywork Utilize power tools, hand tools, and assembly equipment efficiently and safely during installations Apply tinting films for window tinting services when required, ensuring precise application without bubbles or imperfections Maintain detailed records of work performed, including auto estimating documentation when necessary Assist with vehicle detailing and minor auto body repairs as needed to ensure customer satisfaction Requirements Dealership experience or background in automotive repair preferred but not required; willingness to learn is essential Hands-on experience with auto glass installation, repair, or related mechanical tasks Knowledge of ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) calibration procedures is a plus Familiarity with window tinting techniques and tools is desirable Mechanical knowledge of vehicle systems, including auto body repair and assembly processes Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and heavy lifting equipment safely and effectively Strong attention to detail with excellent problem-solving skills Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; ability to work in a fast-paced environment Join us as a Windshield Technician where your expertise will directly impact vehicle safety on the road!
