Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented mobile Auto Glass Technician to join our dynamic automotive service team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and replacing auto glass with precision and care, ensuring safety and quality standards are met. Your expertise will help enhance vehicle safety, appearance, and functionality while providing exceptional service to our customers. This position offers an exciting opportunity for individuals passionate about automotive repair and skilled in handling various tools and techniques related to auto glass and vehicle maintenance. Responsibilities Remove and replace windshields, side windows, rear windows, and other auto glass components using specialized tools and techniques. Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles to assess damage and determine the appropriate repair or replacement procedures. Utilize power tools, hand tools, and glass installation equipment to ensure secure and accurate fitting of auto glass. Apply advanced technologies such as ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) calibration to ensure proper sensor alignment after glass replacement. Perform vehicle detailing, including cleaning and finishing work to restore the vehicle's appearance post-repair. Maintain a clean and organized workspace while adhering to safety protocols during all procedures. Qualifications Prior experience is preferred but not required. Strong mechanical knowledge coupled with hands-on experience using hand tools, power tools, and auto estimating software. Familiarity with ADAS calibration processes and auto glass installation techniques preferred but not required. Ability to lift heavy objects safely and perform physically demanding tasks regularly. Excellent attention to detail with strong problem-solving skills; ability to work efficiently under pressure.
