In this role, you will be responsible for accurately installing, repairing, and maintaining automotive glass components, ensuring safety, precision, and customer satisfaction. Your expertise will help restore vehicles to their optimal condition, providing drivers with clear visibility and peace of mind. This position offers an energetic environment where your mechanical skills and attention to detail will shine. Duties Remove damaged or broken auto glass safely using hand tools and power tools while adhering to safety protocols. Install new auto glass with precision, ensuring proper fitting and sealing to prevent leaks or wind noise. Conduct automotive glass repairs, including windshield chip repairs and crack repairs, following manufacturer guidelines. Utilize advanced technology such as ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) calibration tools to ensure proper sensor alignment after glass replacement. Perform vehicle inspections related to glass fitment, window tinting, and overall vehicle maintenance to identify additional repair needs. Maintain a clean and organized workspace, properly handling heavy lifting tasks and ensuring safe use of power tools. Document all services performed accurately for auto estimating purposes and customer records. Requirements Prior dealership experience or background in automotive repair is highly preferred. Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience using hand tools and power tools safely. Familiarity with automotive glass repair, fitting glass installation, and auto body repair processes. Knowledge of ADAS calibration procedures related to windshield replacement. Ability to lift heavy objects safely and perform physical tasks required for glass installation. Basic understanding of vehicle maintenance, auto estimating, and auto body repair techniques. Excellent attention to detail with a focus on quality workmanship and safety standards. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; mechanic experience is a plus.
