Truck Accessory Installer

Summary We at Discount Hitch and Truck Accessories are looking for a skilled Mechanic to assemble, maintain and repair vehicles. An excellent mechanic must have great attention to detail. They must be able to work with various machines and tools as well as follow all safety precautions. Responsibilities:

Install trailer hitches, truck accessories, and aftermarket products Install commercial truck equipment including flatbeds, service bodies, ladder racks, and related upfits Install products such as Ranch Hand bumpers, bed covers, fuel tanks, fifth-wheel hitches, lighting, and other truck accessories Inspect vehicles before delivery to ensure quality and customer satisfaction Diagnose and repair installation-related issues Troubleshoot customer concerns and provide solutions Perform leather interior installations (Katzkin-style) when needed Assist with general shop operations and support the sales team Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment

Qualifications:

Experience installing truck accessories, trailer hitches, or commercial truck equipment strongly encouraged Mechanical aptitude and ability to use hand and power tools (Preferable Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong attention to detail and pride in quality workmanship Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in a fast-paced shop environment
