You'll be responsible for replacing and repairing auto glass, including windshields, side windows, and rear windows, ensuring each job meets safety standards and customer expectations. Responsibilities Remove damaged or broken auto glass safely using hand tools and power tools, ensuring no further damage to the vehicle. Install new glass units with precision, aligning them correctly for optimal fit and function. Conduct vehicle inspections to assess damage, identify necessary repairs, and determine if additional services such as ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) calibration are needed. Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring all tools and materials are properly stored after each job. Communicate effectively with customers regarding repair procedures, timelines, and safety precautions. Requirements Required minimal 2 years experience in auto glass replacement or repair. Knowledge of ADAS systems calibration and auto estimating procedures is advantageous. Hands-on experience with glass installation, assembly, detailing, and the use of hand tools and power tools. Mechanical aptitude with a solid understanding of vehicle maintenance and automotive repair processes. Ability to lift heavy glass components safely and perform physically demanding tasks regularly. Strong attention to detail to ensure precise installations that meet safety standards. Excellent problem-solving skills combined with a proactive attitude toward learning new techniques in auto glass technology.
