Auto Glass Technician

Job Summary We are seeking a skilled Auto Glass Technician to join our automotive service team. The ideal candidate will have some experience in auto glass installation and repair, with a background in vehicle maintenance, mechanical knowledge, and the use of hand and power tools. This role involves replacing and repairing windshields and windows, ensuring safety and quality standards are met. Candidates with some dealership experience, knowledge of ADAS systems will be highly valued. Responsibilities Remove and replace auto glass, including windshields, side windows, and rear windows, adhering to safety protocols. Use hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment for precise glass installation and repair. Calibrate Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) following windshield replacement when applicable. Assist with vehicle maintenance tasks such as minor mechanical repairs or assembly work as needed. Apply window tinting techniques to enhance vehicle appearance and UV protection. Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety standards at all times. Assist with auto estimating processes for repairs requiring insurance claims or customer billing. Qualifications Experience in auto glass installation or repair. Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and automotive repair equipment. Mechanical aptitude with the ability to perform minor repairs or assembly tasks. Ability to lift heavy glass panels safely and perform heavy lifting tasks regularly. Strong attention to detail with excellent problem-solving skills. Valid driver's license; ability to operate company vehicles if required. Prior experience with auto tinting, glass installation, or mechanic work is advantageous but not mandatory.
