Auto Glass Technician

Duties Remove damaged or broken auto glass using specialized hand tools and power tools, ensuring safety protocols are followed. Install new auto glass with meticulous attention to detail, including windshields, side windows, and rear glass, adhering to manufacturer specifications. Conduct vehicle inspections to assess the condition of existing glass and identify additional repair needs such as ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) calibration or auto body repairs. Apply window tinting films when required, enhancing vehicle aesthetics and driver comfort. Use mechanical knowledge and auto estimating skills to determine the scope of work and prepare accurate repair estimates. Perform vehicle maintenance tasks related to glass installation, including assembly, detailing, and cleaning to ensure a pristine finish. Operate heavy lifting equipment safely for handling large or heavy glass components during installation or removal. Requirements At least 1-2 years of Auto glass installation experience is highly preferred. Valid Driver license and clean driving record. Strong mechanical knowledge coupled with hands-on experience using hand tools, power tools, and assembly techniques. Familiarity with auto glass installation procedures and auto body repair processes. Experience working with ADAS calibration systems and window tinting is a plus. Ability to lift heavy objects safely and perform physically demanding tasks consistently. Knowledge of vehicle maintenance routines and automotive repair practices. Excellent attention to detail with a focus on safety standards and quality workmanship. Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and customers.
