PPF / Ceramic Coatings / Window Tint Technician Milwaukee Auto Lab - Milwaukee, WI Job Overview Milwaukee Auto Lab is a high-end automotive appearance shop specializing in Paint Protection Film (PPF), ceramic coatings, and premium window tint . We're looking for a skilled and detail-oriented PPF / Ceramic / Tint Technician who takes pride in precision work and high-quality results. This role is hands-on and ideal for someone experienced in automotive protection services who wants to grow with a fast-moving, quality-focused shop. Responsibilities Install Paint Protection Film (PPF) on full vehicles, front-end kits, and custom panels Apply ceramic coatings to paint, wheels, glass, trim, and interiors Perform proper paint prep including wash, decontamination, clay, and light correction Install ceramic and carbon window tint on vehicles with clean edges and minimal contamination Safely disassemble and reassemble vehicle trim when required Maintain a clean, organized workspace and tools Inspect finished vehicles to ensure Milwaukee Auto Lab quality standards Communicate clearly with management regarding job progress and timelines Requirements 1+ year experience in at least one of the following: Paint Protection Film installation Ceramic coating application Automotive window tint installation Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship Ability to work independently and as part of a team Comfortable working on high-end and luxury vehicles Valid driver's license Ability to stand, bend, and work with hands for extended periods Preferred Qualifications (Not Required) Experience with bulk PPF installs and custom patterns Experience with brands such as XPEL, STEK, SunTek, Pure PPF, Ceramic Pro, Gtechniq, or similar Paint correction or polishing experience Prior dealership or high-end detailing shop experience What We Offer Competitive pay based on experience Opportunity for performance-based raises Clean, climate-controlled shop Consistent work volume Ability to grow into a lead technician role Work on premium and performance vehicles Schedule Full-time preferred Monday-Friday (some flexibility available)
