Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Experienced Mechanic to join our dynamic automotive service team. We would like someone with a strong background in suspension work, brakes, engine repair (minor & major), alignments, tires, and all general maintenance services. In this role, you will be expected to follow shop protocols precisely, deliver quality work, and maintain a clean driving record. The ideal candidate brings at least 5 years of hands-on experience and preferrable ASE training certificates. Responsibilities Perform comprehensive diagnosis on customer vehicles. Repair and maintain various vehicle systems including engines, transmissions, powertrains, suspensions, brakes, and electrical components. Conduct specialized repairs such as ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) calibration, air brake systems, and diesel engine repairs. Execute routine maintenance tasks like oil changes, tire service, wheel alignments, shocks & struts replacement, and vehicle inspections. Utilize hand tools and power tools efficiently to disassemble and reassemble vehicle components while adhering to safety standards. Interpret technical manuals and schematics to troubleshoot complex mechanical and electrical problems effectively. Provide excellent customer service by explaining repairs clearly and ensuring their satisfaction with the work performed. Skills Proven dealership experience with a strong background in automotive diagnostics and repair. Expertise in working with GM vehicles or similar makes; familiarity with auto estimating is a plus. In-depth knowledge of automotive electrical systems, powertrain components, transmissions, and suspension systems. Skilled in welding, auto body repair, and the use of diagnostic software for electronic systems such as ADAS. Strong mechanical knowledge complemented by experience with maintenance procedures including oil changes and tire services. Ability to read schematics accurately and perform repairs based on technical documentation. Excellent customer service skills combined with a proactive approach to vehicle maintenance and repair tasks. $28.40 - $34.20 per hour
