Automotive Technician/Mechanic Midas - 3.2 Birmingham, AL Job Details Part-time | Full-time $60,000 - $100,000 a year 1 hour ago Benefits Paid training Employee discount Professional development assistance Qualifications Brake repair Passenger car repair Suspension Transmissions Mechanical systems repair Full Job Description As an automotive technician here at Midas you'll be diagnosing and repairing Brake, HVAC, Electrical, Steering and Suspension, Exhaust,Engine and Transmission systems. You're expected to bring your own tools, and to maintain a clean and safe work environment. You'll have access to various online repair and diagnostic programs as well as the use of our physical equipment. We are equipped with a welder, exhaust bender, tire Mounting and balancing machine, vehicle lifts, jacks, brake lathe, bench vice, strut machine and other equipment to make our day to day work as efficient as possible. We are looking for highly experienced people to bring their knowledge and skills to a place that can take you to the next level. Our hours of business here are 7:30AM through 6:00PM Monday through Saturday. Full time employees work 5 days a week. We are closed on Sundays, so you'll always have Sunday off, and then your second day off is generally going to be somewhere between Tuesday and Thursday.
