Job Description

Exciting opportunity! Join an award winning service department ,We are now accepting applications for Passenger car technician to grow our already awesome team, Work with the cutting edge of automotive technology and a brand that began the worlds automotive journey! A Mercedes-Benz Technician is responsible for performing vehicle repair and maintenance work as assigned in accordance with manufacturer standards. A Technician is expected to perform quality work without direct or continual supervision and be able and willing to work on all work assigned to them.
Job Duties could include:
Properly complete services and/or repairs according to applicable safety requirements and published procedures/work repair instructions. Produce quality work which is evidence of pride and workmanship while making every effort to achieve the production objectives set by management. Proactively communicate potential issues with Service Advisors, Parts department, Management, and other departments to provide the best possible customer experience and "fix-it first visit". Complete required Mercedes-Benz and any additional dealership training. Review technical bulletins and other publications as assigned by management. Accurately complete Multi-point Inspections and record results. Ensure customers' vehicles are returned clean as they were prior to any service. Display proper use of tools and equipment provided by the Service Department and maintain promptly. Use shop supplies and materials in a practical, safe, and economical manner. Report to management any situation or condition that jeopardizes the safety, welfare, or integrity of the dealership, its personnel, or customers. Follow all safety protocols. Abide by company policy and departmental best practices and procedures. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications Prior to being employed, applicants for employment must participate in dealership's normal screening process which may include completing a full employment application, satisfactory criminal, credit and driving records checks (where applicable), in-person and/or virtual interviews, and other inquiries. High school diploma, GED, or equivalent. Must be able to drive customer and shop vehicles on public and private roads. Authorized to work in the USA for any employer. Basic communication and problem-solving skills. Basic mathematical skills using Imperial and Metric Systems. Physical demands may include constantly retrieval of cars from parking lots, diagnose and repair vehicles, exert force to move/manipulate objects (up to 100lbs occasionally, 65lbs frequently, 25lbs constantly), operate tools and equipment.
