Equipment to include air compressors, automotive lifts, paintbooths, surface preparation equipment. Provide detailed, complete and timely paperwork. Communicate to dispatch, parts procurement, supervisors and managers, as needed, to keep company and customers informed about work progressions. Participate in company provided training opportunities on latest industry technologies. Identify and report to supervisor/manager potential opportunities for additional business. Responsibilities and Duties Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with companies standards Efficiently diagnose diverse service issues, obtain any replacement parts, and explain fully to customer what the issue is and what is needed to correct. Provide detailed, complete and timely paperwork. Maintain proper stock, parts, tools, and safety equipment in the vehicle.
Document all equipment:
make, model, serial number, necessary test measurements, and pictures as necessary. Use a computer to receive and prioritize work orders. Communicate with supervisor status of job, parts required, potential sales opportunities, Other duties as assigned Qualifications and Skills Pass drug, alcohol, background, and motor vehicle report checks; Exceptional customer service skills; Ability to multitask; Organized; legible handwriting; Geographical knowledge of service area or map reading skill; Ability to work independently in a timely manner, making sure job is done correctly the first time.
Basic computer skills:
High school diploma or general education degree(GED); Two years related experience and/or training in electrical, mechanical, project management, or combination of education and experience, Able to lift 50 pounds and sit or stand for long periods of time; Mechanical and electrical aptitude a plus.
