We are looking for an Apprentice RV Technician to join our team. You do not need prior RV experience for this role. We will fully train you from the ground up on how to inspect, service, and maintain modern recreational vehicles. If you have a basic understanding of hand tools, a strong work ethic, and a desire to build a career in a booming industry, we will provide the training and certifications to help you succeed.
Key Responsibilities Inspections :
Learn to conduct systematic, checklist-based testing on RVs to ensure all plumbing, appliances, lights, and slide-outs function perfectly before the customer takes delivery.
Detailing & Prep:
Wash, clean, and detail units as needed, ensuring they are pristine for customer walkthroughs.
Shadowing & Assistance:
Assist senior certified technicians with complex structural, electrical, and mechanical repairs, learning the trade through hands-on mentorship.
Basic Maintenance:
Perform fundamental service tasks, such as battery testing, propane tank installations, tire pressure checks, and roof seal inspections.
Safety & Shop Cleanliness:
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace in the shop and yard. First Responders and Military personal are a preferred and we can work around your schedules.
Job Requirements & Qualifications Experience:
No professional RV experience required! Backgrounds in construction, car detailing, landscaping, general labor, or high school shop classes are a huge plus.
Aptitude:
Comfort using basic hand tools (wrenches, screwdrivers, drills) and a desire to learn mechanical, electrical, and plumbing skills.
Attitude:
Punctual, reliable, and possessing a positive, coachable attitude. You must be able to follow strict safety protocols and checklists.
Physical Demands:
Ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 lbs, climb ladders to check RV roofs, and work comfortably in various weather conditions.
License:
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record (required for moving units around the lot).
Background check:
Must be able to pass a background check.
Drug Test:
