In this role, you will diagnose, repair, and service a wide range of vehicles, ensuring they operate safely and efficiently. Your expertise will help keep our customers' vehicles in top condition, providing reliable transportation and peace of mind. Responsibilities Perform comprehensive diagnostics using automotive electrical systems, schematics, and advanced diagnostic tools to identify issues accurately. Conduct repairs on various vehicle components including engines, transmissions, suspensions, brakes, shocks & struts, and powertrain systems. Execute routine maintenance such as oil changes, tire service, wheel alignments, and vehicle inspections to ensure optimal performance. Repair and replace critical parts like air brakes, ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems), auto body components, and welding repairs when necessary. Use hand tools and power tools efficiently to disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicle systems following manufacturer specifications. Interpret technical manuals and schematics to troubleshoot complex automotive electrical systems and mechanical failures. Provide excellent customer service by explaining repairs clearly and ensuring customer satisfaction with the service experience. Requirements Proven mechanic experience with a strong background in automotive diagnostics and repairs. Dealership experience is highly preferred; familiarity with GM vehicles is a plus. Knowledge of automotive electrical systems, Schematics reading, ADAS technology, diesel engine repair, and auto estimating procedures. Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other automotive maintenance tools. Ability to perform brake repair, wheel alignment, suspension work, tire service, shocks & struts replacement effectively. Mechanical knowledge of transmissions, auto body repair techniques, oil change procedures, and maintenance routines. Strong understanding of automotive electrical systems and troubleshooting techniques for complex issues.
